We’ll get to know you

Before we get all technical, we’ll first take the time to get to know you, your business, and your audience. We’ve found that gathering qualitative information about our clients helps us do a better job.

We’re pros at data collection, testing, and improving

Data collection – Once we’ve gotten to know you a little better, we’ll proceed to diving into your site’s numbers. How much traffic are you getting? Where are your visitors coming from? What’s your conversion rate?

Having all that data will tell us where your site is numbers-wise, and where it needs to be. These data points will then provide insights on what we need to test, tweak, and optimize.

At this stage, we will also look into the aspects and components of your website that we would need to test or improve. We’ll analyze the effectiveness of your headlines, content, call-to-action and site aspects.

How we go about this step will of course, vary from one client to the next, but a few examples of the components we’ll test include:

Headlines – Are your headlines compelling enough or can they be a bit snappier? Could your headlines be the reason why people aren’t reading the rest of the content?

We’ll come up with variations of your headlines, test them out and see which one is the best.

Images – What images are you using on your website and how effective are they in getting people to convert? Are your pictures sending the right message to the right people or are they sending your customers running for the hills?

We’ll mix up the images—or have our design team whip something up for you—so we can figure out what to place on your site or landing page.

Call to action – Is your CTA strong enough? Are the wording, button size, color, and positioning optimized for maximum conversion or can we do better?

Sometimes, even the most subtle change to your call to action can make all the difference. We’ll be sure to run thorough tests on your CTA and see what sticks.

Forms – Are your lead gen forms enticing people to provide their information? Do you really need all those fields and questions or can we strip your forms down even further?

We’ll test out different form colors, text, and lengths. We’ll drill down on the necessity of each question or field and only leave the ones that are absolutely necessary.

Copy – Are your words getting through to people? Is your copy strong enough or can it be improved? Should we go for long form copy or keep it short and sweet?

We will test the length, wording, tone and other aspects of your web copy and see to it that your words translate to conversions.

Other components – We look at a variety of other things. Font face, color, and size for example, are components we consider as well.

We’ll optimize your pages for maximum results
Needless to say, deep analysis will follow testing. Once we’ve conducted those experiments, we’ll gather the results and see which site components are “winning”. We’ll show you the results and give you the insights you need to determine the right course of action.
